What: Jared Leone Campaign Kick-Off, Meet and Greet, Picnic in the Park

When: 1 to 3 p.m., Oct. 28

Where: State Street Park, 1971 N Betty Lane, Clearwater

“I look forward to hearing from city stakeholders and sharing my thoughts on ways to make sure Clearwater is bright and beautiful for everyone,” Leone said. “The park is the natural location to hold those conversations.”

With a goal of being a voice for all of Clearwater’s residents, Leone is eager to bring together community leaders, neighbors, and supporters in this relaxed setting. State Street Park, one of Clearwater’s hidden natural gems, represents one of Leone’s significant achievements.

Leone has a proven track record of advocating for public safety, responsible development, and environmental preservation. Leone’s efforts were instrumental in securing the city’s investment in State Street Park. The city pledged $700,000 in improvements to it and purchased an available abutting parcel to increase the size of the undeveloped area. Over the last three years, Leone has also helped organize cleanups with the Spring Branch Neighborhood Association which have helped remove more than 5,000 pounds of trash from the park and surrounding areas.

“Working with the neighbors to get the city to not only recognize State Street Park but also invest in it was a huge accomplishment,” Leone reflects.

Leone’s commitment to the community extends beyond his involvement with State Street Park. Leone has served as chairman of Clearwater’s Environmental Advisory Board, president of Spring Branch Neighborhood Association, vice president of Keep Pinellas Beautiful and secretary of the Clearwater Neighborhoods Coalition.

Don’t miss this opportunity to meet Jared Leone, share your thoughts about our community, and learn about his vision for a brighter Clearwater.
